Continuing with revisiting my most popular posts. Sadly given the level of interest this post has generated it doesn’t seem like you can currently buy Post Toasties. Post does provide a history of the company with product introduction dates, but not much in the way of product end dates which are just as interesting.
Another experience at one of our family theme meals was comparing Frosted Flakes.
Post Cereal Company recently came out with a temporary retro line of cereals. They are offering classic examples of Post Toasties Corn Flakes, Frosted Corn Flakes, and Os.
Everyone in the family could tell them apart and successfully identified which was which. Compared to the Frosted Flakes the Post Toasties were a different color and a thicker, rounder shape. I don’t know how accurately this reflects their product in 1910, but it was interesting to try them.
