I’d like to give a little shout out about Sarah Uthoff .She was in State Center this week presenting her WONDERFUL program, “In the Kitchen with Laura,” as part of our month long Laura Ingalls Wilder celebration. We had nearly 60 people in attendance, which is a record turn out for any programming that isn’t a part of the summer library program.

I would highly recommend having Sarah Uthoff as a program speaker on Laura Ingalls Wilder/Little House. We invited her to speak at the North Central Library Symposium two years ago, and made the request through Humanities Iowa. She did an excellent job, came dressed in character, had many items to display, and was very knowledgeable about her subject matter. She can utilize a power point presentation, or props, (or both), and is comfortable doing the program either way.
Following that appearance I invited her to speak for the Burt Public Library at our fall festival. We had a full house, a newspaper write-up, and excellent comments from the public afterwards.

Please remember Sarah Uthoff! She is also a Humanities Iowa speaker. Sarah is an expert on Laura Ingalls Wilder and has a variety of programs related to Laura. Sarah also has an excellent program on One Room Schoolhouses. She also has other programs, but I am just speaking about the programs she has done for me.
Sarah is an excellent speaker and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been having her present programs at the North Liberty Comm. Library for years, and I learn something every time she presents. Sarah is engaging and lots of fun and her programs attract attendees from children through senior citizens. I really can’t recommend her enough!
