When I post my video diaries I always get comments about my Laura clothes. No, not my period dresses, but my Laura Ingalls Wilder t-shirts that I wear for travel and Laura trips. I thought everyone might enjoy a closer look at them. So enjoy our monthly series where we look at a Laura shirt.
Shirt of the Month
Here’s this month’s shirt:
Reunion of 2019
This year was the 45th Anniversary of the TV show and the Walnut Grove Laura Ingalls Wilder museum celebrated by having a reunion of the cast. Once again they were able to get 11 cast members to come. The names are listed on the back.
Listed are confirmed actors:
- Hersha Parady aka Alice Garvey
- Dean Butler aka Almanzo Wilder
- Sidney Greenbush aka Carrie Ingalls
- Charlotte Stewart aka Eva Beadle
- Wendi Lou Lee aka Grace Ingalls
- David Friedman aka Jason Carter
- Lindsay Kennedy aka Jeb Carter
- Stan Ivar aka John Carter
- Radames Pera aka John Sanderson Edwards
- Alison Arngrim aka Nellie Oleson
- Pamela Roylance aka Sarah Carter
Unfortunately, a couple of days before the reunion Stan Ivar had to withdraw. Hersha Paraday also was a last minute cancellation.
Another Winner of a Shirt
Of all the Laura homesites Walnut Grove stands out as the place who does event specific T-shirts the best. I’ve previous shirt of the month honorees include the Walnut Grove Pageant’s 40th anniversary and 2016 when Karen Grassle and Charlotte Stewart visited. I’m sure I’ll be sharing more.
Can I Buy One?
This depends on when you are asking. They are a short run product, when they’re gone they’re gone. In 2014 they completely sold out early and could definitely have sold more so I’m guessing they ordered a good amount. So while I think you’ll probably be able to buy one after the event, ACT NOW if you want to make sure you get one.
