September tends to be a busy month for Laura Ingalls Wilder events and this year it’s no exception. I have two programs.

First, at the Laura Days event in Pepin, Wisconsin I’m going to be debuting a brand new program In the Classroom With Laura. It’s going to be following the model of In the Kitchen With Laura, mixing stories of Laura’s life with stories of life in a one-room school like the ones Laura attended or taught in.

Second, speaking of In the Kitchen With Laura, I’m going to be doing that ever popular program in Mt. Pleasant this month.

  • Laura Days – Pepin, WI – In the Classroom with Laura – September 9-10, 2017
  • Henry County Conservation Center, Mt. Pleasant, IA – In the Kitchen With Laura – September 17, 2017 – 2 pm

Sarah S. Uthoff is the main force behind Trundlebed Tales striving to bring the History, Mystery, Magic and Imagination of Laura Ingalls Wilder and other greats of children’s literature and history to life for a new generation. Uthoff is a nationally known Laura Ingalls Wilder authority and has presented at five of the Wilder homesites, many conferences and numerous libraries, museums, and events around the Midwest. Attend one of her programs, schedule one yourself, watch her videos, listen to her podcast, and find her on FacebookTwitterGoogle+, LinkedIn, and Academia.edu. Professionally she is a reference librarian at Kirkwood Community College and director of the Oxford (Iowa) Public Library.
