If you are looking to visit Walnut Grove, Minnesota. where to stay is a problem. Walnut Grove doesn’t have a hotel or bed and breakfast in town. They do have plenty of camping options if that appeals to you. If you are going to see the pageant, having a place nearby is a definite plus. The pageant goes to 11 pm and often it’s later than that by the time you get out of the traffic, plus you still have to drive to where you are staying and find it again in the dark. (Definitely check in before the pageant.) Tracy is the next town the line and they have both a bed and breakfast and a motel. If you are going to visit at any other time being nearby isn’t as important, but I’d recommend if you are planning on going to see the pageant there, making reservations early…
