It’s that time of year again. The Fall 2013 Midwest Open-Air Museum Coordinating Counsel’s conference was in Schramsberg, Illinois. Part of the conference is a series of Resource Group Meetings. These are loose associations of people (most of the membership rotates with each conference) where you can come and share news, ask questions, offer help and brainstorm resources. I am the Resource Group Chair for Foodways. Foodways is the study of everything having to do with food from production to consumption. A lot of it focuses on historic cooking, but there are other aspect represented too. Before the conference I put together an agenda that includes a list of items, news, updates, etc. that I think people interested in food would want to know about. We also talk about possible sessions and articles that we’d like to see appear in MOMCC Magazine. Here is my agenda for this meeting.
