I’ll always have a soft spot for Pepin because it was the very first Laura homesite that I ever visited. I’ve gotten to know it very well with yearly visits and posted about Pepin often, so there might not seem like there would be a lot new to say. But I had a great time this year and there have been some changes. There is an entire new wing between the formerly separate buildings that made up the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. One of the best known bed and breakfasts has sadly closed. They’ve added a Cousin Charlie to the Little Miss Laura competition. What else? You’ll have to watch to find out.
