Happy Holidays

Today I am wishing the very merriest of Christmases by sharing a lovely video from Connors Prairie.

If you’ve never heard of Connors Prairie they are one of the major living history site around the country. They mostly focus on 1830s which is pre-Laura, but it’s where I got my awesome pig’s tail photo.  They do both first person interpretation (where all the people you interact with act that it really is in this case the 1830s and immersion programs where you yourself take on a historic character, most famously by taking on a role in a hunt for runaway slaves either slave or slave hunter – truly a powerful program that makes you think). I think you will enjoy the video.
