This week I got to go on Talk of Iowa with host Charity Nebbe and her guest the editor of the Library of America edition of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books, Caroline Fraser.  Fraser was in town for a presentation sponsored by the Iowa City Public Library and Prairie Lights Bookstore (which if you have never been to it, put it on your life goals now, it’s one of the best independent bookstores in the country).  Her speech was recorded for use on the Iowa City Public Library cable channel and I’ll let you know if I find it online. Read a summary of the event by Sharron McElmeel who attended (actually check out her blog while you are there if you haven’t, she posts great stuff):

And listen to the archive of Talk of Iowa. Fraser is on as the first guest so I don’t chime in during the first segment, but I’m on for the last two segments.

If you want to download it, right click on the play button and choose either “Save file as” or “Save Target As” depending on your browser. Then you can load it on any MP3 player.
