I first started looking into the history of City Park when I put together a presentation on Johnson County history for 4H. There’s a lot of good stuff there, but I’d never even heard of this Park Pavilion. Something else to look for more photos of and to see if anybody has any of the things sold out of it identified anymore. The article is from October 1948 in the Iowa City Press Citizen.
