My First Party
This very first on-air party was when the show was first starting out and you’ll find more issues with it than usual . 🙂 The format was a little different too because it’s mostly me instead of a call in as I talked about how Laura herself would have celebrated her birthday in the 19th and 20th centuries and how birthday celebrations changed over the years.
Description in Archive
Come celebrate children’s author and pioneer Laura Ingalls Wilder’s birthday on February 7, 2011, the 144th anniversary of her birthday. Grab a piece of virtual birthday cake and learn about how her birthday has been celebrated over the years. Also, call or chat in your favorite story or just wish her a happy birthday!
Last Updated February 5, 2016: I deleted the part giving time and topics for future episodes since they’re already long over and added my signature block, a little more description, and a photo.
