Burr Oak – A Play Update

I just found out that as part of the Laura Days this year in Burr Oak, a local theater company put on “Laura Ingalls Wilder:Voice of the Prairie” by Kathryn Shultz Miller. It was originally commissioned for the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis Imaginary Theatre Company and has since been increasingly popular with regional theaters. I’m not too impressed with their website (did they get clearance for the photos like they are asking other people to pay for? – if so it doesn’t say so anywhere), but there teacher guide is decent and you can download it for free. I’m sorry I missed the production in Burr Oak and hope they do another next year.
